Our curriculum is in line with Te Whaariki (The New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum), we focus on child centred learning, and plan from our observations of children’s interest.

Our centres are open Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays and we are normally closed for two weeks at Christmas.

We provide healthy nutritious meals, with the aim that if your child does a full day that they will have had their five+ a day requirement from our menu. If your child has allergies, please see the staff and our cooks will tailor the menu to cater to their specific needs.

We ask that you bring your children in clothes that they can explore and play in freely without worrying about them getting dirty. We do provide aprons for art and messy/waterplay but sometimes children being children still manage to get paint on their clothes. We also ask that where possible you name your children’s clothes, to save confusion.

A hat for summer, and spare clothes, and a warm hat and preferably gumboots for winter is also essential. We have a comprehensive sun-safe policy, so sun block will be applied several times a day. For winter we encourage the children to get outside in the fresh air as much as possible, but we do wrap them up warm when they go out.
